Big dustup going on right now regarding an interview Sean Hannity had with Roy Moore and allegations he had inappropriate relationship with teenage girls 37 years ago. As a result, leftist useful idiots are boycotting sponsors.
Now, as a responsible citizen, I’m trying to figure out the merits of this boycott. Maybe you could help me. Here is a Hannity quote from the interview. Could you please point out what is so controversial that sponsors should be pulled from his show:
“Every single person in this country deserves the presumption of innocence,” Hannity said. “With the allegations against Judge Moore, none of us know the truth of what happened 38 years ago. The only people that would know are the people involved in this incident.”
To me, that looks like pure American constitutional language. Now I know the Left hates the Constitution, but maybe you could help me understand the necessity of a boycott against Hannity for saying this.
Following the money, one finds that Media Matters is involved and that means George Soros is involved. Leftist rodents don’t seem to be able to connect the dots. Or maybe they LIKE Soros. Birds of a feather.
