Jan. 6 Committee Will Hire a Writer to Create a ‘Compelling Narrative’

BY RICK MORAN MAR 19, 2022 12:20 PM ET

It’s really a shame that the master propagandists of the mid-20th century in Nazi Germany and Soviet Russia missed the 21st-century revolution in imaging. Think what Goebbels and his Nazi cohorts could have done with modern CGI. Or what Stalin could have done with deep fakes.

Democrats on the Jan. 6 Committee are not similarly handicapped. They are beginning to prepare a multimedia presentation that will be available online when their final report is released (probably about six weeks out from the midterms).

And they plan to hire a writer as “part of its effort to turn its largely secretive work into a compelling narrative, multiple sources tell CNN.”

Question: Will there be scary background music to augment and enhance the “compelling narrative”?

We don’t want it to read like a clunky committee effort,” Democratic Rep. Jamie Raskin told CNN. “We want it to have an authorial voice that tells the story of what happened.”

The effort to hire a writer, confirmed to CNN by three sources familiar with the discussions, comes as the panel enters a new stage of its investigation. After collecting mountains of information, committee members must now determine how much of it to use in building its case to a public still inundated with images of rioting at the US Capitol but which may not understand the full extent of the efforts to overturn the 2020 election.

Will they differentiate between the legal efforts to challenge the electoral vote count and the illegal efforts to overturn the decision of the voters? Will they paint the peaceably assembled demonstrators who came to the Capitol ellipse to hear Donald Trump and other speakers as insurrectionists? Trying to lump the more than 50,000 Americans who came to listen to Trump in with a couple of hundred rioters who broke into the Capitol is false, misleading propaganda.

One thing that’s certain about this production: it will only tell one side of the story. And the evidence and images will be manipulated with no “minority report” to push back on it.

Describing the type of candidate to take on the writing job, another source familiar with the decision said “the person who writes a press release isn’t necessarily the person that’s going to write the deep dive, and making sure that they can put the time and energy into it, was something that we talked about.”

The source added that Mississippi Democratic Rep. Bennie Thompson, who chairs the panel, first raised the idea of hiring an outside writer as early as November, and that it has remained an active conversation since.

“The last we left it was it’s something that we’re seeking, but we also have someone in house who’s taking on an expanded role to help,” the source said.

The reason that was given for all the propaganda razzmatazz with a “compelling narrative” and exciting imagery is that this is the way that most people people “consume information.”

Presenting its information in a comprehensive and engaging way will be crucial to creating a convincing argument for potential legislative changes as well as possible criminal referrals.

It’s also a recognition of how most people consume information in 2022 — and the massive amount of video evidence the committee has at its disposal.

In other words, people are too dumb to read words. The words must be accompanied by images. The Committee won’t want journalists for this work. This is a job for a Hollywood screenwriter.

The ability to show a “comprehensive” story in an “engaging way” is what Hollywood writers have been doing for 100 years. Oliver Stone would be an excellent choice, given he’s already written one nutty conspiracy film, JFK, and he’s a radical lefty to boot.

But I think Ron Howard is the Committee’s man to write this blockbuster. Cocoon meets Apollo 13? Can’t wait for the opening.

Judge Releases Capitol Video on Jan 6. It wasnt an Insurrection. It was a Grandma Selfie Party

I was sure it would happen. Months later when the truth came out, the January 6 event the left and the mainstream media have tarred as an insurrection would be shown to be nothing of the kind. All us conservatives have been wondering why 14,000 hours of Jan 6 Capitol video has been withheld from the public.

Well today a judge ruled that the video must be released and it has been. And sure enough, the people shown coming into the building are strolling in through an open door and looking around taking pictures. Hardly any insurrection! Candace Owens called it a Grandma Selfie Party.

This always happens. The expert liars, aka the Democratic Left, spread their lies about conservatives and fill the media with it. Then in 8 months when all the useful idiots in our society have gone on to the newest shiny thing in the news, the TRUTH comes out through official channels and exposes the left for the lying goons they are. Except by now, no one cares.

This happens over and over in this country. It is very frustrating when you care about the truth.

If you are politically ignorant but you love your country, you must do 2 things. 1) Get educated on what is going on politically and 2)Stay away from the Democratic party.

Interview with Jerrod Sessler on Jan 6

When you look at January 6, what are your thoughts about the January 6th events. How did you view that?

Well I viewed it with my own eyes because I was there and it was very much a sort of Nascar fan, rodeo fan, sort of crowd. The instigators were paid to be there and I believe it was, as far as the Capitol  breach, that was just a setup from the left to try to prevent Trump from ever being eligible to run for office again. It certainly wasn’t something that was driven by the majority of the people that were there. I mean there’s hundreds of thousands of people there and it was freezing. And we’re standing in the cold for a long time and it was a long walk to the capitol. Even at the Capitol the instigators of the violence were actually more-so the police than the people that were there.

So you saw with your own eyes that the instigation was coming from the inside?  It was coming from police law enforcement you say paid agitators? You watched this Jared?

Yeah absolutely.  Yeah it was paid agitators.  We were there for a couple days before and we had actually, at Lafayette Square, I think it was, I can’t remember.  It was a night before or two nights before I literally was two or three feet from a gal who said she was paid to be there and she had went(sic) on a few minutes later to bloody the face of a gal that we had walked over there with.  Those were the kind of people that were there at the Capitol before President Trump was even done speaking.  There were already people that were dressed up in costumes supposedly breaching the Capitol and the whole thing was a setup.  When I got down to the Capitol you had police (I don’t know whether it’s capital police or otherwise) that were throwing these detonation, I don’t know they’re basically just these sound bombs.  I don’t know what you call them but they’re throwing them into the crowd of people with kids and strollers and old people.  I mean, we’re standing at the Ellipse when we were listening to this or trying to listen to the speakers and we were next to a guy who was probably in his 80s or 90s in a wheelchair.  I mean the idea that people somehow believe and that they think the January 6 events are going to go down in history as a breach is ridiculous.  What’s going to happen is the information’s eventually going to come out and it’s going to go down in history as as one of the most embarrassing things ever happened to this nation.

Yeah I’ve seen the video of cops throwing flashbangs into the crowd and it looked like they’re trying to agitate the crowd there’s video of a guy who looks very very much like an FBI agent who was encouraging people to go into the Capitol.  People were saying no, no, no.  Fed, fed, fed.  We had the video of Jaden x, I forget his real name, who it says, “Look i’m a black lives matter incorporated Antifa guy.”  He took the video of Ashley Babbitt being shot and of course the media told us, “No there was no BLM, no Antifa in sight.  No one like that was there. This was only Trump supporters.”  So it’s fascinating that you were there for that.  Did you think ever (Jared Sussner is running for Congress against Dan Newhouse, Benton County Washington State),  Jared did you think you would ever speak publicly that you felt like your government agitated to arrange an attack on your capital?  When those words leave your mouth, are you as astonished as I am when words like that leave my mouth?

I am.  In fact, I was speaking at an event a couple weeks ago and I had this ladies (she’s kind of a middle-aged mom) come up to me and and she said, “You know I feel like I’m a conspiracy theorist because everything, all this crazy stuff is coming out to be true and I think those that are rational and those that are critical thinking are kind of feeling the same way.”  And I told her, I said,  “You’re not alone.  It’s uncomfortable.  It’s awkward.  I don’t even know how to describe it but we are literally living in a time where these things that are supposedly not possible or sound a little off the wall are actually true and they’re actually happening.

Antifa False Flags and Agent PROVOCATEURS at Capitol

Michael Yon (born 1964)[1] is an American writer and photographer. He served in the Special Forces in the early-1980s, and he became a writer in the mid-1990s. He focused on military writing after the invasion of Iraq.[2] Yon has been embedded on numerous occasions with American and British troops in Iraq, most prominently a deployment with the 1st Battalion, 24th Infantry Regiment (Deuce Four) of the 25th Infantry Division in Mosul, Iraq that ended in September 2005.[3]

Yon has had vocal feuds with the United States military hierarchy, and the nature of his reports is also controversial.[2] However, Yon at one time enjoyed “rock star” status among individual soldiers, according to Brian Williams of NBC.[4] Yon’s alternative media reporting has been mentioned by numerous mainstream media agencies, and he has won accolades from the 2005, 2007,[5] and 2008 Weblog Awards.[6] In 2008, The New York Times reported that he has spent more time embedded with combat units than any other journalist in Iraq.[1] He shifted the focus of his blogging from Iraq to Afghanistan in August 2008.[7] His work is supported primarily by donations from readers.[8]
